Sure, my home town of Detroit has had its struggles, still fighting back from corrupt Mayors, the decline of the auto industry (coming back strong!), it is slowly rebuilding, and every time I go home to visit there are more exciting things to see!
What a lot of people don't realize though is the beautiful buildings and architecture that has been in the city for so many years! Sometimes I feel that it is too easy for the media to report on the negative rather than take a little time to find the beautiful... Here is some beautiful!
