Oklahoma born country star Blake Shelton is working with NBC to organize a special benefit concert for victims of the recent tornado outbreak.

Shelton told Billboard Tuesday night, "We'll know more about it in the next 24 hours.  I'm hoping it will raise a lot of money. Obviously it will be televised and will happen really quickly."

Blake had just finished the night's episode of The Voice.  He pointed to fellow coach Usher and said, "I can call in some really big favors."

The Voice opened with Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert performing their song Over You as a tribute to the victims of the tornado.  A message to donate to the Red Cross was posted on the screen throughout their performance.
