Meg's Big Announcement. "This One Isn't Easy"

This morning has been full of all sorts of emotions!

In case you missed it, Paul and I made the announcement that I will be leaving the show. Now, the good news is that I am not going far! I will still be working with 96.9 The KAT, but on a part time basis. I have truly enjoyed the last 9 years with Paul and Geof, but I have been offered an incredible opportunity outside of radio, and have decided to pursue it.

Everyone has been so fantastic to me over the years, the happy times, and even the scary times with my health too, and I can't imagine having been with anyone else when I went through all of it. I am so happy and thankful that I will still be able to be part of the KAT family.

I will still have this blog page, and I hope you will listen as I give it a go solo on my own air shift too! We are still sorting out the details as to when I will be on the air, and I will let you know as soon as I do!  Thank you for being so incredible to me over the years, and I look forward to seeing everyone out at the concerts and events around Charlotte!

My last official day with Paul will be on August 24th, but I have promised him to help out if he needs someone to fill in.

As I get ready to make this transition, I need to give thanks to Kelsea Ballerini for making me smile really big by keeping her promise to let me meet her dog Dibs (Y'all know I am nuts for the dogs and babies!).

This decision hasn't been an easy one to make, thank you everyone for the support and love over the years.
