I am going to get on a soap box for a minute, and I just hope you can stick with me...
I am so very proud of the women who have found their voices to tell the world that they have had enough and aren't afraid to say that they were harassed in their industries.
From the young gymnasts to Hollywood actors, actresses and popular singers too, setting their fears aside to speak out about the wrong that was done to them.
Setting precedent that it is NOT ok, and things need to change, and hopefully giving others the courage to speak up as well.
With that, there are also some who have taken advantage of these times to wrongly accuse, trying to get 10 minutes of fame, and in doing so I feel taking away from the ones who have truly been wronged.
Ryan Seacrest was accused of harassing a stylist that he worked with years ago, but he wasn't going to stand for it.
He came out publicly to deny the allegations, and was very vocal about being cooperative with any investigations that were taking place.
Ryan says:"To have my workplace conduct questioned was gut-wrenching," and he pledges "to help voices be heard."
Those investigations are now concluded, and were found to have had no merit, and now Ryan is speaking out about what happened, how he cleared his name, and how he wants to help make sure that voices are heard....
