Officer Samantha Dowell – University City Division
Officer Samantha Dowell goes above and beyond at her job every day. She never complains about her calls for service and handles each case with the same diligence. She was the first officer in her division to volunteer for follow-ups with the “Child Development-Community Policing” Program (CPCD), helping child crime victims and witnesses deal with violence and trauma. She’s also volunteered to be a part of the NBA’s “Building Bridges Through Basketball” series at Naomi Drenan Recreation Center. It’s a program aimed at connecting community and law enforcement through basketball. Her commitment to helping her community is what makes her a great officer.
