Officer Evan Jones – Eastway Division
This week’s spotlight is on Officer Evan Jones. He’s being recognized for his exceptional work in an armed carjacking case. Early last month, a member of the community was followed and ambushed. Ofc. Jones recognized the case appeared familiar to others in the city and began utilizing department resources and working with community members and even another city’s police department to return the victim’s vehicle and provide significant leads on a series of dangerous robberies.
