Chatting with Stephanie Quayle

The countdown is SERIOUSLY on!!! This Saturday, the biggest free, one day festival in the entire southeast will take over the streets of Uptown Lexington. Of course I'm talking about the Barbecue Festival! This festival is SO big, that it's the one day of the year where the Amtrak actually stops in Lexington as opposed to passing through; that way, festival-goers from Charlotte and Raleigh can board in their respective cities, ride the train into Lexington, and enjoy the fun!

The barbecue will be plentiful, but so will the family fun with the car show, the sand sculptures, and everything else that the festival has to offer. And be sure to join us at the main grandstand starting at 1:30 for Q Jam! Hardy will take the stage for a special set, followed by a Nashville-style guitar pull featuring Thompson Square, Walker Hayes, and iHeartCountry On The Verge Artist Caylee Hammack, and then that will be followed by a rockin' performance from Stephanie Quayle!

Stephanie was nice enough to call and check in today. I love her so much! She now divides her time between her place with her husband just west of Greensboro and Nashville, and it is going to be something VERY special when she joins us at the Barbecue Festival Saturday around 3:30. We chatted about her tour, her new EP, the delicious food at the Barbecue Festival and lots more. Give our conversation a listen, and we'll see you Saturday in Uptown Lexington for the Barbecue Festival. Come ready to "Pig Out!"
