Did you see Kyle Larson's performance last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca-Cola 600? I hope you did, because it was spectacular! Kyle won stage three of the Open, which claimed his position in the All-Star Race. With 12 laps to go in the All-Star Race, Kyle took the lead and held off a hard-charging Kevin Harvick to claim the checkered flag and the one million dollar prize!
Now, all attention is turning towards Sunday's running of the 60th Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR's longest race. For the fifth consecutive year, each driver will honor a fallen soldier with that hero's name across their windshield of their car. It's a really cool way to show gratitude and respect for members of the US Armed Forces past and present.
Kyle was kind enough to take a few moments to call in to talk about his HUGE win at the All-Star Race, Sunday's Coke 600, and the hero he will honor. There are still great seats left to the race, and you can get them here. If you're unable to make it to Charlotte Motor Speedway, be sure to tune in at 6pm on Fox.
Did you see this picture that Kyle posted to Instagram after his All-Star Race win? I love this picture. After all, as we talked about in our chat, Owen said "daddy" was going to win! And he did!
