The Houston Livestock and Rodeo show is going on right now. If you are unfamiliar with this annual event, it's a big deal. A REALLY BIG DEAL. So big, that the show attracts a couple of million people annually, and the attendance record is a staggering 2.6 million people, which they hit two years ago.
Also called RodeoHouston, it's the largest livestock and rodeo in the world, and features some pretty amazing concerts. This year's line-up includes George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley, Old Dominion, Luke Combs, Tim McGraw, Kane Brown, Zac Brown Band, Kings of Leon, Cardi B, Panic! At The Disco, Santana, and more. Not too shabby, huh?
Last night, Kacey Musgraves took the stage, and as part of her set, she performed a tribute to late Tejano Superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez by performing one of her biggest hits called "Como La Flor." Selena's final performance was in Houston at a record-breaking, sold out show at the Astrodome in February of 1995, just a month before her tragic murder in March of 1995, so there was special meaning for Kacey to perform this song in Houston. A fan captured the song, and here is the video. Isn't this fantastic?
