Daniel Suarez will drive the 41 car for Stewart Haas

Happy Birthday to Daniel Suarez!  It was announced earlier today that Suarez will take over the #41 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang starting in the upcoming 2019 season.  What a birthday gift!

Suarez joins SHR from Joe Gibbs Racing, where he spent the last two seasons in the 19 car.  Prior to that, Suarez was the 2016 Xfinity Series Champion, where he was the first Mexican-born racer to win a series championship.  Suarez replaces Kurt Busch in the 41 car, who left SHR after five years for Chip Ganassi Racing.  It was announced back in September that Martin Truex Jr would be taking over the 19 car at JGR.

Suarez brings his JGR sponsor Arris with him to the 41, and he will also be sponsored by Haas Automation.  Look for Suarez in his new ride at speed weeks in Daytona, which includes the 61st annual Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 17th.
