Brad Keselowski sweeps Darlington

Before this weekend, Brad Keselowski had never won at Darlington.  In 9 tries in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series, he finished as high as 2nd back in 2015 but never got a win.  He had never won at the Lady In Black in the Xfinity series either, but this weekend, he fixed both of those statistics and swept the weekend!  And, in both races, while he had a great car, he was also at the right place at the right time.

In Saturday's Xfinity race, Ross Chastain won the first two stages, but when Chastain and Kevin Harvick got into each other while battling for the lead, Keselowski capitalized and went on to win the race and scored his 39th Xfinity Series win.

In Sunday's Bojangles Southern 500 Cup series race, Kyle Lawson was very much the dominant car, leading 284 of the 367 laps, but when Brad won the race off of pit road after a caution and a lap 348 restart, he never looked back and went on to win, scoring his 25th win in the Cup series.

Here is a look back.

Brad's win was in a throwback car that paid tribute to Rusty Wallace's Miller Genuine Draft car.  Rusty was elated, saying it felt like he was watching his own kid!

Huge congratulations to Brad Keselowski and the entire Number 2 team!

NASCAR heads to the Brickyard next weekend for the final race in the regular season.  The Chase begins the following week in Las Vegas.
