Rolling Stone didn't like ACM's handling of Route 91

The ACMs opened with Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, and Thomas Rhett simply talking about the mass shootings at the Route 91 Harvest Festival last year in Las Vegas as a tribute.  

Frankly, I thought this was PERFECT.  I was expecting a musical tribute, a medley...something.  But no, the ACMs' went with spoken word.  I personally thought it came off as heartfelt and beautiful.

Rolling Stone, however, did not approve, published an article titled "How the ACM Awards Dropped the Ball on Recognizing Route 91 Tragedy," and tweeted this...

If you click on that tweet, you can see that plenty of fans had plenty to say.  Most of them came to the ACM's defense, including Maren Morris, who tweeted this...

Like Maren said, everyone has an opinion.
