The ACMs opened with Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, and Thomas Rhett simply talking about the mass shootings at the Route 91 Harvest Festival last year in Las Vegas as a tribute.
Frankly, I thought this was PERFECT. I was expecting a musical tribute, a medley...something. But no, the ACMs' went with spoken word. I personally thought it came off as heartfelt and beautiful.
