Kevin Harvick wins...AGAIN!

For the third week in a row, Stewart Haas Racing in Kannapolis, NC has a reason to celebrate!  For the third week in a row, Kevin Harvick and the Number 4 team was Freaky Fast and brought home the trophy.

In race two of the season, Kevin dominated Atlanta.  Atlanta was the site of his first career win in 2001, and as great as he's run at Atlanta over the years, this was only his second win there.

In last week's third race of the season, Kevin once again dominated.  This time it was at Las Vegas.  This win was not without controversy, however.  After the car passed post-race inspection, it was brought back to the R&D center in Concord, where it was found to have issues with the rear window support and the rocker panel extension.  Kevin was docked 20 driver points, the 7 playoff points he earned for winning the race and stages, his crew chief was fined $50,000, and his car chief was suspended for two races.  Harvick went on record as saying that he strongly disagrees with the penalty, and put a lot of it on what people were saying on social media.

And then yesterday, they were on to Phoenix, where Harvick has a fantastic track record.  Nobody is surprised that he won Phoenix...again...but maybe after the deal in Vegas he had a little more to prove?  Like the previous two week's wins, it was pretty convincing.

After the race, Kevin had a message to his fans- and his haters.

It's on to California next week and the 2 mile Auto Club Speedway.  Let's see if the 4 team can make it 4 in a row.  With the way they have been running, I wouldn't bet against them...
