But to add to it, how cool is this? Rather, how HOT is this? Variety just reported that the original Flamin' Hot Cheetos have inspired a new movie that has been given the green light by Fox Searchlight. The movie will center around the creator of those crunchy, spicy, little pieces of heaven. His name is Richard Montenez. He is the son of immigrants, grew up picking grapes as a migrant worker in Southern California, and then he became a janitor at Frito Lay. It was there that he had the idea of Flamin' Hot Cheetos, which became a billion dollar brand and catapulted him from janitor to corporate executive.
Sounds inspiring! I can't wait to see this movie, while munching on Flamin' Hot Cheetos instead of popcorn, of course...
