Marc Wright, a 25 year Veteran Firefighter and Retired Division Chief with the Columbia, Missouri fire department battled cancer for three years and was in his final days. During a Facebook live chat, Garth himself acknowledged the video and got emotional. He even raved over Marc's performance of his classic.
Sadly, five days after Marc's sister Michele posted the video of Marc singing, he lost his battle with cancer. Thoughts and prayers certainly go out to Marc's friends, family, and the Columbia Fire Department.
