Lost Daddy Doll returned to 1-year-old

Thousands of people, two airports and Delta Airlines recently helped reunite a 1 year old little girl with her "Daddy Doll". Kenley lost her Daddy Doll, which had a voiced message from her deployed father, while flying with her mom, Arielle Saige Britton, from Hartford, Connecticut, to Atlanta.

Mom, Arielle posted on Facebook : "Hi, I’m Kenley’s daddy doll. I go everywhere she goes because her dada is deployed. We were traveling back home yesterday and I seemed to have gotten lost somewhere between the Hartford Connecticut airport and the Atlanta airport."

As soon as Delta saw the post they started searching for Daddy Doll and it was soon found on the plane that had taken Kenley and her Mom to Georgia.

Daddy Dolls was created in 2004 by two women whose husbands were deployed. It's not just Daddy dolls though, there are now Mommy, Brother, Sister, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, and Friend dolls. The dolls are meant to keep families connected for whatever reason; adoption or bereavement, divorce or deployment, business or incarceration. You can even donate and sponsor a child on their site.
