If you've ever wanted to listen to music, but you're not sure what to listen to, you've probably scanned the radio hoping to find something you'll want to leave on. Well, now you can do do that right from your own phone via the iHeartRadio app.

The app, which recently received a major update based on listener feedback, launched a new scan feature. An audio-industry first, you can discover new stations with scan, and seamlessly sample nationwide radio stations, or filter by city or genre. It’s a brand-new way for you to navigate iHeartRadio’s unparalleled broadcast radio dial, ensuring your new favorite stations are never out of reach — and you can discover new ones that you'll love.

To scan for your favorite stations (and favorite new stations), simply open up your iHeartRadio app, and on the home screen under the Live Radio Dial, hit the Scan Stations button, and it will scan your radio dial until you find something you like. Then, simply hit Stop Scan, and keep listening!

Rollout of the new version of the iHeartRadio app has already begun, and the new interface will be available to all users by December 25th — just in time for Christmas. Download the iHeartRadio app today from the App Store or Google Play to elevate your digital listening experience.
