Kane Brown was “like the Uber driver of Nashville,” on a snowy day with plunging temperatures across Middle Tennessee. The genre-blending country star went to get gasoline and offered workers rides home, his wife, Katelyn Brown, said in a video on her Instagram story.
Katelyn was bundled up in warm winter clothing as she recorded a now-expired video on her Instagram story outside. Katelyn said at that time that “it’s still snowing, and we are loving it.” Her eldest daughter, Kingsley Rose, 4, had friends on their way over with plans to go sledding to take advantage of the snow day in Nashville.
Though the snow has been a fun experience for families like the Browns, it has also prompted officials to warn Tennesseans not to drive unless absolutely necessary in winter weather conditions. The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Nashville District, for example, wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday morning (January 16) that the agency encouraged people to stay home if possible, and to “use extreme caution,” when driving.
To help others get home safely, Kane sprung into action.
“Kane went to the gas station this morning and he has seen people working, and he is giving them rides home from work,” Katelyn shared on her Instagram story, originally posted on Monday (January 15). “He gave them his number and told them to call whenever they get off work and he would give them rides home. So currently, Kane is like the Uber driver of Nashville right now.”
Kane and Katelyn are parents to Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane, who turned 2 on December 30. The “Thank God” couple revealed on Christmas Day they’re expecting Baby No. 3. In a gender reveal video shared earlier this month, Kane and Katelyn confirmed Baby No. 3 is a boy. Who asked whether they’d stick with a “K” name for their first baby boy, Katelyn said: “Absolutely! We’ve committed and can’t stop now. We have a good idea of the name but would love to hear more!”
The Browns are one of several country couples welcoming a baby in 2024.
