Brad Paisley's Free Grocery Store Delivering To Elderly Amid Coronavirus

Brad Paisley's The Store, a free grocery store in Nashville for those in need, is taking action amid the coronavirus pandemic. In an effort to keep the elderly safe, The Store will start to offer a delivery service for at-risk seniors who need to remain in isolation as the virus continues to spread.

"We have decided to change the way we do things a bit," Paisley explained in a video posted to Instagram. "We are mobilizing a group of volunteers to deliver groceries, one week’s groceries, to elderly people that should not be out shopping on their own during these times."

Paisley continued on to encourage his followers to contact The Store if they know any elderly people who are in need on groceries in the Nashville area. Further details were also included in his caption.

"If anyone needs to be included on this list, we urge them to contact info@thestore.org," he continues. "Also, we will continue to operate regular hours 1-7 Th/F 11-5 Sat for walk ins but please bring ID and either proof of income, proof of residence, or statement of unemployment for our recently unemployed neighbors."

Paisley created The Store with his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, in collaboration with Belmont University. The couple broke ground on the free grocery store in April of 2019. For more information, visit TheStore.org.
