Kane Brown Responds to Speculation About His Deleted Twitter Account

Y'all know we love Kane Brown. He's been someone we've rooted for from day one and we've been so happy to see his success (4 #1 songs already!). On Wednesday, the CMA Award nominations were revealed and Brown's name was nowhere to be found. Brown took to Twitter with a "Shake My Head" GIF which then resulted in a lot of backlash and the tweet being deleted.

Sarah Lee posted about the tweet saying "Kane Brown took to twitter and shared a "Shaking my head" GIF. (we get it ... we get it!) Hold your head high Kane, we love you, your fans love you and you're successful and that's all that matters. PLUS, you'll be busy being a new Dad around that time so maybe not being nominated is actually a win for you!" (Read the full blog here.)

Fast forward to Friday, a story broke that Brown had deleted his Twitter account, leaving some to speculate that it was because of the CMA Awards snub. Well, Brown has set the record straight and responded to The Kat's Instagram post saying:

"Bro if people don't stop with this...why would I delete twitter because of the cmas? I deleted it so I'm not on my phone constantly and can focus on music and my family if I was mad ida deleted Instagram to."

We're happy to hear Brown is staying positive and taking a Twitter break to spend more time with his family and focus on his music.

You do you, Kane.
