It's hard to see the video footage of the plane crash that Dale Earnhardt Jr and his family survived late last week. As the plane was coming in for a landing it skidded off the runway, bounced and came to a stop on a four lane highway. When Chief Carrier from the Elizabethton Fire Department made a statement about the wreck his comment will give you chills, he said,"Whoever was on it was very lucky they made it out....." Dale Jr, his wife Amy, their daughter Isla, the two pilots and dog were able to safely exit the plane before it became completely engulfed in fire. Seeing the family run out of the plane just in time will give you chills. We are so thankful they are ok and we will continue to lift them up in prayer, because although they aren't injured... I'm sure they'll be shaken up for awhile.
