A young girl enjoying an Astro's game with her Dad was hit by a line drive foul ball hit by Albert Almora, Jr. The game immediately came to a halt. Video shows an emotional Almora who instantly dropped to his knees. The girls Dad rushed her up the stairs and and to the hospital. The Astros released a statement saying, "The young fan that was struck by a foul ball during tonight's game was taken to the hospital. "We are not able to disclose any further details at this time. The Astros send our thoughts and prayers to the entire family."
Almora asked the security guard working the third-base line for an update. He begins to sob as they share what little information they had. In post game interviews, Almora told reporters that as soon as hit the ball, the first person he locked eyes on was her. He said," God willing, I'll be able to have a relationship with this little girl for the rest of my life, but just prayers right now."
