This is such a loss for country music. I still remember seeing Roy every week on Hee Haw when I was growing up. My dad was NEVER a country music fan but he always said that Roy was one of the greatest pickers players in the world, and I have to agree. And I've been a huge fan of the banjo from the first time I saw him play. RIP Ray, you'll be missed.
