President Trump to Visit Charlotte Friday

President Trump will be making his way to Charlotte on Friday, August 31st. The president is attending a luncheon for two Republican congressional candidates in the Queen City and is expected to sign an executive order on retirement security at Central Piedmont Community College.

This is all happening right in the middle of the day...peak travel time for Labor Day Weekend. Be prepared for more congestion than usual and even temporary flight restrictions at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

The fundraiser will take place at the Trump National Golf Club, according to sources. It will benefit Mark Harris who is running for North Carolina's 9th district and Ted Budd who is running for the state's 13th district.
