This weekend is going to be so much fun as Family Gras takes over Mardi Gras Plaza on Veterans in Metairie across from Lakeside Shopping Center. One of the highlights will be The Oak Ridge Boys, who perform Sunday between Revisiting Creedence and Tyler Hubbard.
The Oak Ridge Boys have an incredible history, and each member of the band has a fantastic story to tell! I was fortunate enough to get to chat with Richard Sterban of the Oak Ridge Boys today about that history as well as his own history (did you know he sang with ELVIS?!?!). Richard is a fascinating man with so many great stories to tell. I could've talked to him all day!
