Home security cameras caught the moment a rabid bobcat attacked the homeowners. Kristi and Happy Wade of Pender County were in the process of taking their cat to the vet but before they could get into their car, a rabid bobcat jumped on Kristi's back and began attacking her. Happy runs over to help his wife and ends up with the wild cat in his hands. He was able to throw the cat across the yard and at that moment a concerned neighbor who was out jogging came running up to help.
The bobcat runs under their SUV and Happy was able to shoot it. It was later confirmed that the cat did have rabies. Both Kristi and Happy have had rabies treatment where they've received over 30 shots but seem to be doing well. See the video and more on the story HERE
