Firefighters Battling House Fires At Ocean Isle Beach Days After Isaias

Firefighters have been battling house fires on Ocean Isle Beach just days following Hurricane Isaias, the category one hurricane that made landfill in the Carolinas late Monday night. According to reports, the Horry County Fire Rescue were called to the scene a little after 1am Thursday morning to help control the fires. Two homes were a total loss, three were damaged and one person was flown to Chapel Hill for treatment, according to Mayor Debbie Smith. We will continue to keep the first responders and all those who are continuing to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias in our thoughts and prayers.
