Ryan Reynolds is personally invested in helping a fellow Canadian, Mara Soriano, recover her missing teddy bear. Soriano was in the process of moving when someone stole her bag with the bear inside. Also inside was an ipad and nintendo switch but the most valuable thing to Soriano was the bear. It was the last message she received from her Mom who lost her battle to cancer last year. The Build-A-Bear has an audio recording of her mom saying, " I love you, I’m proud of you and I'll always be with you."
Ryan Reynolds shared the picture of the bear on twitter with the message," Vancouver: $5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara. Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home."
And I think we all feel the same way! Prayers the person who stole the bag does the right thing and returns this bear to its rightful owner.
