Matt Rhule has been named the new head football coach of the Carolina Panthers.
Rhule has spent the last three years as the head coach of the University of Baylor where he led his team to an 11-3 season and a Sugar Bowl appearance. He's also coached at Temple, Western Carolina, UCLA, Buffalo, Albright College and served as the assistant offensive line coach with the Giants.
Rhule is the first head coach in Panthers history to be hired from the collegiate ranks.
