The first day of school is full of many emotions and not all kids are excited with the pressures surrounding the exciting moment. When Courtney Moore dropped her son off at school she was overwhelmed by the actions she witnessed. There was a young boy named Connor who was crying and standing all by himself and instead of ignoring the young man's cries, Courtney's son went over to comfort the boy, grabbed his hand and walked with him into the school. Courtney was able to snap a picture of this moment, she shared it on Facebook and it has since gone viral. It turns out, the young boy has autism and was scared. This nice gesture caught the attention of Connor's Mom who sent her Courtney a thank you! She expressed her fears of her child being bullied for being different and seeing this picture calmed her 'Momma heart.' Let us learn from our children. Slow down and notice when someone around us needs a helping hand, encouragement or a hug.
