ILuke Skywalker was tweeting about some ironic road signs in the Charlotte area. Mark Hamil (the actor who played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars movie franchise) was apparently driving to Asheville a few days ago. I can tell because of the road signs he thought were ironic. As a Star Wars and Batman FANboy I've often gotten a chuckle out of these road signs myself! The first sign is on I-85 South. It is the New Hope Rd exit sign in Gaston County (referencing his leading roll in the 1977 film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.) The second pic was of the I-26 Bat Cave Exit sign in Henderson County (referencing his voice acting for The Joker in the animated Batman cartoon show.) I just always loved that exit sign and next time I'm stopping in front of the sign to snap a pic!
