Carrie Underwood told her fans that she may look a bit different the next time we saw her. The story spread like wildfire, Carrie had fallen, breaking her wrist, and something had happened to her face requiring 50+ stitches, but no-one knew what except those close to her, and they weren't saying a word. We wouldn't see carrie for months afterwards, but then when we did, she looked normal!
Of course more rumors started to spread. Was it all a PR stunt, did she REALLY get hurt, and the most common one.. Did she have plastic surgery?
Carrie was very candid in the post accident interviews about the fall that occurred late last year while walking her dogs, but the rumors persisted, and now she has had enough.
Carrie has a new interview in Redbook magazine, and is setting the record straight!
Here is a portion of the interview:
Redbook: There were so many rumors online — that you'd had plastic surgery, that it was a publicity stunt. Did that bother you?
Carrie: I'm on some magazine every other week for something crazy. It's a little sad, because the truth is just as interesting I wish I'd gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this [scar] look better. But I try not to worry too much about it. My mom will be like, "Did you see they are saying this about you?" And I'll be like, "Mama, I don't care. I'm just trying to raise my son and live my life."
Carrie talks to the magazine about more kids, her new music, and more, you can read the entire article by clicking the photo below!
