Storm, an English Golden Retriever, was seen paddling through water to meet the frightened animal in the water.
The furry hero successfully brought the helpless fawn to shore, following as the deer attempted to dart away from the scene.
As the deer collapsed from apparent exhaustion, Storm lied besides him as he began to lick his ears and verify that the small animal was in good health.
Whimpering through his post-rescue moment with his new friend, the dog diligently fawned over the animal and remained beside his new pal for comfort.
"Good job, buddy," the shocked owner congratulated his pup, stunned by the quick actions that saved this baby's life.
