Channel 9’s School Tools is partnering up with Communities In Schools and Classroom Central again this year to provide basic school supplies to thousands of students in need. With almost 260,000 children listed as Economically Disadvantaged, these supplies are given to those students in Kindergarten through 12th grade in over 22 participating counties. Serving more than 3 million children since 1997, this community initiative has raised over $8,000,000 worth of school supplies to date, assisting more than 120,000 students last year alone.

The largest school supply drive in the region, Channel 9 is asking viewers to drop off school supplies to any local Showmars or Ashley Furniture HomeStore beginning August 1st through the 15th.
