Paul Schadt Inducted Into the Country Radio Hall of Fame

96.9 The Kat's very own Paul Schadt has been inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame! The news was delivered by Tim McGraw via telephone after Wednesday's show. Paul's co-host, Meg Butterly, set up the call and asked Tim who presented him his very first award. Tim mentioned Vince Gill and then delivered the news to Paul:

Tim: "So how does it feel to be voted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame..."

Paul: "Are you serious..."

Tim: "You've been voted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame!"

Paul: "WOW!"

Paul Schadt has been broadcasting in Charlotte on country radio for over 32 years and started at WKKT in 1997! He also co-hosts the nationally syndicated Racing Country USA. Congrats Buddy! Check out the official announcement and the full video of the reveal here:
