Diane Grinde is a huge Kenny Chesney fan.  She has posters of Chesney all over her house and has even devoted a bathroom to the country superstar.

Two years ago, Diane was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.  She was given months to live, but is still going strong.  Last week, she actually skipped chemo to attend a Kenny Chesney concert.

But, that's not all.

Her daughters got in touch with a former employee of Chesney's.  Through the connection, Diane got to go backstage at the show and meet Kenny himself.  She got a picture, autograph, and the chance to chat up Chesney.

On the experience, and what her daughters did for her, Diane tells My Fox Twin Cities, "I had children and that was unbelievable," she said. "I can't even tell you, my whole life was the kids...and they like me!"

Diane also says, ""I'm 65 years old. I have end-stage adenocarcinoma.  Who wrote the book on how I am supposed to act? I don't know how."
